This past Saturday, we had a great turnout for our in-house Thanksgiving Throwdown! SO many motivated athletes came through those doors bright and early with great attitudes and great spirits, ready to tackle whatever workouts were given! Our PR board grew by the minute, we donated 42 turkeys to support local families in need, and we ended up with 4 winning teams by early afternoon! Congratulations to all teams who came out and gave it their all. For many of you, it was your first competition and we couldn’t be more proud of you all. A huge congratulations to the […]
It’s almost Thanksgiving, one of those holidays where it is pretty much a given that you will be stuffing your face with however much food your stomach will hold. Just because Thanksgiving is a holiday where it’s OK to eat all day, doesn’t mean you have to make unhealthy decisions while doing so. One of our favorite Thanksgiving side dishes is stuffing, (and as we all know, is primarily bread based.) Here is a healthy alternative for stuffing that is made with lean ground beef, celery, apples and walnuts. It tastes amazing and is much healthier for you. Check it out, and […]

CrossFit is an activity that often extends beyond the gym. Everyone has a goal when they step into the box: become stronger, have more endurance or flexibility and often translates to one’s job or hobby. One of CrossFit Thin Blue Line’s members, Michael Sousa had a goal of improving himself as a competitive wheel to wheel race car driver. Many think that getting behind the wheel of a car is fairly non-eventful. Commuting to work rarely has our heart rate above resting (barring some occasional road rage). However, strapping into a carbon fiber race seat with 6 point harnesses […]
Join us Friday, October 30th for our annual Halloween WOD and Party! WOD will start at 5:30pm and will be the ONLY class for that evening. (All morning classes are on as scheduled). Congratulations to CFTBL Athletes Chad and Josh who completed the Spartan Beast at Killington a few weeks ago! We are super proud of these two for taking on a tough event like this. Here is a little recap from Chad about the race: “The race ended up being around 15.5 miles and took about 8 hours to complete (which ended up being top third time wise). The race was one of the biggest mental challenges I’ve done. The obstacles were a little tough but adding in the mountain is what made them tough, ranging from barbwire crawls and various walls […]
